So what's this In Transit program all about?

Our "In Transit" models are brand-new Chevy cars, trucks and SUVs fresh from the factory that are being shipped to our dealership at Hedrick's Chevrolet. While these vehicles are still coming, you can review our list and see if there's a new Chevy that matches what you're looking for. In addition, our list of In Transit vehicles will change periodically so you can keep monitoring the list and reserve a new Chevy when you see one you want.

What happens if I change my mind once the car arrives?

We understand and that won't be a problem. We know you're reserving a vehicle without being able to see it in person and do a test drive. We know you might change your mind or decide a particular new model isn't what you were hoping for. You aren't obligated to buy it. We'll be happy to refund any initial deposit and you will be completely free to choose another car or get a car somewhere else. We're committed to your satisfaction.

It probably costs a lot to reserve an In Transit model, right?

Fortunately, no. We don't charge a fee if you want to make a reservation on a new In Transit Chevrolet. We do ask each customer to make an initial deposit to confirm that you're seriously interested in the vehicle because we'll be reserving it in your name. But even that deposit is refundable if a customer from Fresno or Lemoore, CA decides that he or she doesn't want to buy a particular model when it gets here.

Are you offering only a tiny handful of In Transit models?

While the number of In Transit new Chevy models on our list will vary, we typically have somewhere in the neighborhood of two dozen heading our way. We can often provide an excellent cross-section of models that include some of our most popular new Chevy cars, trucks and SUVs. That means In Transit models often include great choices like brand-new Chevy Silverado trucks, Chevy Equinox, Chevy Blazer, Tahoe or a Colorado pickup.

How long will it take for my reserved vehicle to arrive?

In a time of shortages and changing production schedules, we wouldn't presume to know exactly when your In Transit new Chevy will get here. But we'll give you our best estimate of a delivery timeframe when you make your reservation. The good news for buyers in Hanford and Madera, CA is that you're no longer just waiting and hoping the next shipment will have a car you like. An In-Transit reservation lets you claim one you like.

Why have I never heard about In Transit models before?

In more normal times, we were blessed to have an excellent supply of new Chevy models in stock. For that reason, there simply wasn't a need to offer our In Transit models as an option to customers from Selma CA or other nearby communities. We're glad to give you this service now and we also offer the same kind of financing on our In Transit models that we do with any new Chevy.
